chanel gold fiction

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller...

(Robert Frost)

That snippet from 'The road less traveled' has nothing to do with anything.
Or, maybe I'm just trying to say I won't be amongst the herds flocking to this purchase this new lacquer from our fave design House??
Feigned profoundness.
(Lovely poem all the same.)

Creative Director at Chanel makeup, Peter Philips's Gold Fiction nail polish is now available. (Chanel.) Philips, who must've been instructed in the delicate art of consumption mania by predecessors Dominique Moncourtois and Heidi Morawetz — the geniuses behind Black Satin — created Gold Fiction, an 18-karat gold-flecked lacquer that pays homage to a gilded mirror at Coco Chanel's famed Rue Cambon apartment (I wonder where exactly.)
I don't think I like it much. Or at all. Give me the black or white satin anyday.

Gilt kisses.
